Describe a day in your life at your job/business.
Leading by example. On a good day, spending valuable and meaningful time with the staff and regulars and creating experiences they will remember and return for.

Tell us about a few highlights of your career.
Starting from the bottom and working up to the honor of the position I have today. I have been fortunate enough to have been a part of two incredible teams in our company and I look forward to continuing to grow along with our company’s growth.

Do you have any advice for future or current CIA students?
Don’t be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone and don’t be intimidated by the people who act like they know everything.

What’s your best memory at the CIA?
When I visited when I was 12 years old and knew that’s where I wanted to go to college.

Tim McKevitt majored in culinary arts management at The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. He is the general manager of Maialino restaurant in New York City.
