CIA Sweeps SkillsUSA Competition for 6th Straight Year

For the sixth time in as many years, CIA students recently placed first and second in the New York State Post-secondary SkillsUSA Culinary Arts competition held at Alfred State College in Wellsville, NY.

Tommy D’Ambrosio, a sophomore from Phoenix, AZ captured the gold medal and freshman Mihae Lee of Seoul, South Korea earned the silver medal.

In addition, Cameron Talotta, a freshman CIA baking and pastry major from St. Johnsbury, VT, took home a bronze medal.

Tommy now goes on to represent New York State at the SkillsUSA National Post-Secondary Culinary Arts competition in June in Kansas City, MO.
